What is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is May 2, 2008. The supplemental test administration date has a single registration deadline. There is no late or emergency registration period for this test date.

What tests may I take?

You may take any or all of the Basic Skills tests or one or both of the Early Childhood Education tests.

What are the test fees?

The following test fees apply to the May 2008 administration:

Nonrefundable registration processing fee	$20
Nonrefundable supplemental test administration fee	$45
Basic Skills assessment test fee (per test)	$25
Early Childhood Education assessment test fee (per test)	$65

So, if you register to take the Basic Skills Reading and Mathematics tests at the May test administration, you will pay a $20 registration processing fee, a $45 supplemental test administration fee, and a $25 fee for each test, for a total cost of $115.

Examinees who do not pass a test at the May 2008 test administration and register to take the same test at the June 2008 test administration will not be required to pay the emergency registration fee.

The following test areas are available for the May 2008 test administration:

• Athens/Gwinnett area
• Atlanta—South area
• Columbus area
• Northwest Georgia area
• Savannah/Statesboro area
• Valdosta area

How may I register?

Registration for the May 2008 test administration is available online only. Select "Register Now" on the GACE Web site and follow the instructions provided.

If you need to change your registration after you register, you must do so online; select "Confirm or Modify Registration" on the GACE Web site and follow the instructions provided. If you choose to withdraw your registration, remember that both the registration processing fee and the supplemental test administration fee are nonrefundable.

How do I request alternative testing arrangements?

Follow the instructions in "Registering for Alternative Testing Arrangements." The deadline for submitting your request and all supporting documentation for the May administration is April 25, 2008.

When will I receive my scores?

Official score reports are mailed on June 2, 2008. You may also view your unofficial scores online after 5:00 p.m. on this date by selecting "Score Reporting" on the GACE Web site and following the instructions provided.
