Release of Your Test Scores

Your test scores will be reported to you, the GaPSC, and the educator preparation program provider (and employing agency for Paraprofessional) that you indicated when you registered. Your scores will be available on the score report date published in "Test Dates."

Your scores are reported directly to the GaPSC and are automatically added to your certification application file. Your score report is for your records only; do not submit it with your application for certification.

Under some circumstances, scores may be delayed. For example:

In addition, your scores will be delayed if there are problems with your payment, and your scores may be permanently voided if you have any outstanding balance owed by you to Evaluation Systems after a test administration for which you were registered. See "Test Fees and Payment Policies" for more information.

Unofficial Test Results at a Computer-Based Testing Center

For computer-based testing, at the conclusion of your test session, you will receive unofficial results for any tests you take that include selected-response questions only (e.g., Basic Skills Test I—Reading, Basic Skills Test II—Mathematics). For tests that include constructed-response assignments, your unofficial test results will note only whether or not you took the test. Responses to constructed-response assignments are scored during a scoring session held immediately after the testing window. Unofficial test results received at the test center are not acceptable substitutes for a score report.

Examinee Score Reports

Your score report is available to you on the Internet, at 10:00 p.m. eastern time on the score report date published in "Test Dates," as a PDF document, which you may view, print, and save for your records. To access your score report on the Internet, select "Score Reporting" on the GACE Web site and follow the instructions provided. Your score report will be available for 45 days after the score report date.

For each test you took, your score report provides information about your passing status and other performance information. See "GACE Passing Requirements" for detailed information on the passing requirements for GACE tests.

Your score report is accompanied by an explanation of how to read your score report. If you did not pass a test your score report will include a Detailed Performance Analysis (for all tests except Paraprofessional). The Detailed Performance Analysis provides information regarding the number of questions on the test for each objective and the percentage you answered correctly, as well as performance information for the constructed-response section (if applicable). A score report explanation is also available by selecting "Score Reporting" on the GACE Web site.

If you register online, you have the opportunity during the registration process to request that your score report be sent to you by e-mail. If you wish to have your score report sent to a different address, you may log in to your account on the GACE Web site and update your contact information.

If you register by mail or telephone, your score report will also be sent to you by U.S. mail on the score report date.
